We offer 1:1 university & careers coaching with personal statement and application workshops to ensure every student receives individualised support throughout their journey.

Each year, we host a Higher Education & Careers Fair, welcoming representatives from top universities, drama schools, and art schools worldwide. Students gain insights from industry professionals, attend subject-specific talks, and receive one-on-one advice from admissions tutors.

The majority of students go on to study traditional subjects including Economics, History, Architecture, Mathematics, Business Management, Psychology and Modern Languages. Our team gives each student bespoke advice and tailored support to give them the best chance of success.

Careers and Higher Education Fair: Talks on different subjects and the opportunity to speak directly to admission tutors.

Professional advice: Hurtwood's experts provide individual help choosing university courses, completing applications and crafting the best personal statements.

Oxbridge: Intensive Oxbridge preparation with advice on choosing a college, preparation for entry tests, mock interviews and alumni talks.

Medicine and Veterinary science: Intensive Medical School and Veterinary Science preparation with alumni talks, advice on entry tests and mock interviews.

At Hurtwood, creativity thrives. Our specialised Performing Arts & Creative programmes are designed to give students a competitive edge in auditions and applications.

Film & Media: Talks from industry specialists and Hurtwood Film Academy prepare students for the film industry. Hands-on experience with 16mm film, live streaming and documentary filmmaking giving students the best portfolios and a head start at university

Drama School Preparation: Extensive help with choice and rehearsal of audition pieces.Weekly masterclasses with industry professionals such as Adrian Rawlins, Paul Bown, and Tom Mison.

Dance Training: Individual training from professionals in  jazz, tap, modern, ballet, contemporary and street dance. Bespoke help with audition pieces and choreography.

Fine Art & Design: Art Masterclasses, Life Drawing Sessions, visits from professional artists, 1:1 portfolio guidance and visits from leading art Schools.

Music & Music Production: There are multitude of performance opportunities and experience in songwriting, recording and production with the Hurtwood album and Project YouTube which help students access the best courses.
