School Statement Regarding COVID-19

Disappointingly events have overtaken us.  As you will be aware, the Prime Minister has just announced that all schools in England are to be closed as part of the social distancing strategy in order to suppress the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).  With heavy heart, I have therefore taken the decision to bring the start of the Easter holiday forward and send students home on Friday 20 March.

Battling the final stages of significant government reforms in the A level curriculum, our students have risen to the challenge and excelled in a very wide range of exacting A Level courses.

Second-year student Niamh Collins has joined an impressive club: already short-listed last year in a national short-story competition, she has just been selected as one of the FOYLE YOUNG POET 2017 winners.
