Congratulations to ex-Hurtwood student Fia Hadeed who is making her stage debut in Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at the Globe Theatre, directed by Chelsea Walker, as part of their Summer Season 2026.  

After Hurtwood Fia went to study Acting at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She graduated in 2025, but her television credits already include ‘Private Bushra Abdallah’ in Russell T Davies’ series ‘The War Between the Land and the Sea’ for BBC/Disney+ which premiered in 2025, and ‘Nour’ in ‘The Gathering’ for World Productions/Channel 4, which premiered in 2024.  

At Hurtwood, Fia lit up the stage in many productions and concerts, but it was her performance as ‘The Witch’ in Hurtwood’s Christmas musical ‘Into The Woods’ which was the most memorable. She was also the lead singer in Hurtwood’s ‘Project YouTube’.

At the Globe, Fia will be acting alongside Bridgerton’s Geraldine Alexander, and we are sure that it won’t be long before Fia is a household name herself.
