Watch ex-Hurtwood student Jack Huston playing Flint Marko in this highly acclaimed superhero television series. 'Spider-Noir' is not just any daring detective thriller. It is unique as it offers viewers two very different ways to watch - a deeply atmospheric black and white cut and a vibrant colour cut. It centres on an older version of Spider-Man who is a private investigator down on his luck. The series is set in an alternate world based on 1930s New Yorkand Spider-Noir gained his superpowers serving in the First World War. The series has a superb cast including Li Jun Li and Brendan Gleeson. Jackenjoyed working with the cast and stated “It is such a treat getting to work with someone like Brendan. He’s forever my favourite actor.”The Guardian had high praise for the series stating,“Everything is shot with style and confidence.” 

At Hurtwood Jack starred alongside future Hollywood royalty Emily Blunt and Tom Mison in our Christmas production of ‘Guys and Dolls’.There cannot be many other school productions in the UK which have producedthree world renowned stars!When he was not on stage at Hurtwood Jack’s A Level studies included Media, Theatre and Art.   

Jack has been in many huge productions since leaving Hurtwood such as ‘Ben-Hur’, ‘Unit 234’, ‘House of Gucci’ and ‘Boardwalk Empire’.He is also the writer, director and producer of ‘Day of the Fight’ starring Michael Pitt, Joe Pesci, Steve Buscemi and Ron Perlmanwhich was released in 2024.
