Hurtwood Hits the Big Apple
05/05/2026Hurtwood Theatre department’s trip to New York was non-stop action. Straight from the plane, bags dropped at the Paramount Hotel, everyone headed to Ellen’s Stardust Diner for a full-on singalong supper - subtlety was never the plan! Throughout the trip there was a myriad of fabulous opportunities for the students. On the first day there were workshops at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York Vocal Coaching and Broadway Dance. The afternoon saw a visit to the Museum of Musical Theatre and the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views from the Edge skyscraper.
