Battling the final stages of significant government reforms in the A level curriculum, our students have risen to the challenge and excelled in a very wide range of exacting A Level courses.
"53% of all the grades achieved by our students were A* or A, double the typical national average figure. Over 80% of grades were A*, A and B, showing the ability of Hurtwood students to reach those prized grades.
“Several of our students have achieved three, or even four, A* grades. 90% of our students completing the challenging Extended Project Qualification achieved A* or A grades.
“We are delighted that so many of our students are currently in the process of confirming their first choice university places to study a diversity of courses from dance to physics, English to photography, and architecture to journalism. Many have secured places at traditional institutions including Imperial College, UCL, Edinburgh and Durham.
“Hurtwood students are unafraid to venture overseas and we are delighted that many are on their way to study abroad at institutions including in Toronto, George Washington University, NYU, Antwerp, and Switzerland. We wish them every success for life beyond Hurtwood!"
