Hurtwood alumni Rose Glass has been named the winner of the IWC Schaffhausen Filmmaker Bursary Award for her film 'Saint Maud'.
The horror film, Rose's first feature, follows a young nurse who becomes a full time carer to a chronically ill dancer.
The story gained praise from Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle, who called it a 'thrilling cinematic journey', before describing Rose as 'an extraordinary talent and powerful storyteller'.
The film is also in contention for the best film award at this years festival.
We wish Rose the best of luck and look forward to her future projects.
