TEACHER OF PSYCHOLOGY
We are looking for a dynamic A Level teacher to join a well-established and well-resourced Psychology department for September 2023. The department comprises three full-time teachers and there are nine A Level groups – over 100 students in all. The department follows the AQA A Level course whose units include Gender, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology. In the teaching and learning, much emphasis is placed not only on the understanding of psychological models but also on the ability of each student to apply these to real-world scenarios and case studies. Contact time with students is six hours per week and support outside of lesson time is regarded as an essential supplement. The ability to offer A Level Sociology would be a significant advantage.
