TEACHER OF GEOGRAPHY
We are looking for a dynamic A Level teacher to join a well-established and well-resourced Geography department for September 2023. The department comprises two full-time teachers, following the OCR A Level course (H481) whose units include both physical and human geography topics. Contact time with students is six hours per week, a lesson per day, and support outside of lesson time is regarded as an essential supplement. In the teaching and learning, much emphasis is placed not only on the understanding of geographical concepts but also on the ability of each student to apply these to real-world scenarios and case studies. The department runs a number of field trips and visits to support this process.
