The age requirement for all courses is 14-19 years
Sure to stretch and challenge the most competent young dancer, this exciting week is designed to develop your dance technique, build your stamina and expose you to a variety of styles including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre.
This fantastic course boasts master classes led by West End dancers from current shows such as Chicago and Stomp, as well as learning repertoire from dance productions including work from Matthew Bourne’s company New Adventures and Rambert.
The Schedule…
This seriously full schedule is packed with interesting discussions, specialist workshops and master classes. The mornings will consist of skill-based learning, while the afternoons will be used to rehearse for the final performance.
The Final Performance…
You will rehearse and create a dance project which will be presented on the final day in one of the Hurtwood performing spaces. Incorporating work from each of the specialist workshops, this showcase will truly give the audience a taste of what you have experienced on the course!
The Theatre Trip…
The course includes an exciting theatre trip where participants will have the opportunity to view a current London cutting-edge dance piece.
