With over 25 productions each year in the Hurtwood Theatre, opportunities abound for students to specialise in backstage skills such as set building/production/sound/lighting and design. Students taking Theatre Studies at A level can choose to be assessed on lighting, sound or design for their exam show. A number of our students have gone on to train at the top schools like R.A.D.A and Bristol Old Vic, finding jobs in glamorous locations from the set of James Bond movies to the National Theatre. Often the unsung heroes of the dramatic world ; these are the guys and girls that really make the magic ! |
