For the wannabe singer/songwriter we offer private lessons with our resident rock musician Andy Deurden. From original idea to demo disc all creative and comercial aspects are covered AND every year the four most promising students are selected for special FREE treatment.
Lunchtime Concert
An informal but glittering array of talent in a lunchtime lineup backed up by the full weight of the Hurtwood technical and music departments. This is a shop window for original work and old favourites. Individuals-duos-bands- all performed infront of the whooping, always appreciative, Hurtwood student audience and the occasional agent.
The Music Concert The music concert takes place at the start of the spring term.A Four - night, high octane affair of lights, projection, film, dance and top sounds A chance for you to be featured with a professional band at your back. Fast, fun and powered by thrill. If you fancy your own solo slot in the spotlight then this is your gig Maybe you have your own songs, your own tunes – air them here!Live and direct!Just you and the mic... And the band... Maybe a few lights...the MD...and a few K watts of sound kit.We want you to experience a professional set up, so once more the musicains are top notch professionals.
