From LONDON take the A3 in the GUILDFORD direction.

1.5 miles after crossing over the M25, take the exit to RIPLEY B2215 (A247).

Continue through Ripley for 1.5 miles until you reach a roundabout, where you turn left in the direction of DORKING A247 (A25). This road will take you through WEST CLANDON and over a large crossroads with traffic lights. About four miles from the traffic lights you will go through GOMSHALL village and under a railway bridge and come to the village of ABINGER HAMMER where a clock overhangs the road. Turn right here onto the B2126 (Felday Road), to HOLMBURY ST MARY.

Go through the village of HOLMBURY ST MARY; past the Royal Oak and the Church on your right; and a quarter of a mile further on, just before the “de-limit” signs, turn right into PITLAND STREET. Go 1.5 miles up this narrow road until you reach a
T-junction where you turn right. Hurtwood House is the second drive on the left after approximately 200 yards.
